Dental.me Score is a 0-99 comparison score used across Dental.me city, specialty, and practice pages. It combines visible rating strength, review-count strength, limited verification lift, profile detail, and fresh directory data so patients can compare dental offices without confusing paid visibility for organic ranking.
How the score is built
The public score is capped at 99. A visible score of 100 is intentionally not used, so an elite profile still has to keep earning trust through rating quality, review depth, profile completeness, and confirmed data.
Rating Strength
The Google star rating is translated directly into a rating-strength component. A 5.0 rating starts stronger than a 4.9, and a 4.5 is treated as a materially different signal.
Review-Count Strength
Review volume is scored by percentile against the Dental.me rated-practice dataset. This keeps a one-review 5.0 from automatically beating a deeply reviewed 4.9.
Verification Lift

What the score does not measure

That distinction matters. Dental.me can help patients compare dentists by location, rating and review signals, contact details, profile completeness, and specialty/category paths. Patients should still contact the office for appointment availability, insurance participation, payment options, and treatment-specific questions.
Organic ranking and Featured placement are separate
